N.B.
The G chord needs to be played with ring finger on the
6th string, middle on the 5th and little finger on the 1st,
so you have your index finger free to hammer-on on the
2nd string to create the Gsus4's.

The D6 is an optional hammer-on note you could add to the
D chord on the 3rd string to still keep the rhythm guitar
going but have a kind of simulation of the riff.
