Finch totally rock so you gotta check them
out incase you have not, this is probably their
best songs and one of the only ones you can figure
out easily on guitar because of all the distortion
they use on their other songs. I am not sure if this
is played by the lead guitar, the rhythm guitar or
any of the guitars but it is the over all sound of
the song so here we are:
Tuning slightly higher.
Tip: this is a good song to play on acoustic
although it is a fairly heavy distorted electric
guitar song, so there you go.
Intro:
E- - 7- - - - - - - - - - - -7- - - - - - - - - -
A- - 9 - - - - - - - - - - - 9- - - - - - - - - -
D- - 9- - - - - - - 4- - - - 9- - - - - - - -4 -
G- - 8- - 6-6-6-6-6- -6- - - 8- - -6-6-6-6-6- -6-
B- - 7- - - - - - - - - - - -7- - - - - - - - - -
E- - 7- - - - - - - - - - - -7- - - - - - - - - -
🎸
Accuracy Rating: - Votes: -
E- - -4- - - - - - - - - - 4- - - - - - - -
A- - -6- - - - - - - - - - 6- - - - - - - -
D- - -6- - - - - - -4 - - -6- - - - - - 4 -
G- - -5- -6-6-6-6-6- -6- - 5- 6-6-6-6-6- -6
B- - -4- - - - - - - - - - 4- - - - - - - -
E- - -4- - - - - - - - - - 4- - - - - - - -
Play this twice through then it goes into
the actual chorus where Nate starts singing,
both guitars start playing flat chords,
it does not really matter what you play here
but if you just play the chords played through
the intro that will not matter. then the guitars start
playing normal chords again when Nate sings
with me, with me, with me. Play this in the background:
E - 4- - - - - - - - - - - -4- - - - - - - -
A- -6- - - - - - - - - - - -6- - - - - - - -
D- -6- - - - - - - - - - - -6- - - - - - - -
G- -5- - - - - - - - - - - 5- - - - - - - -
B- -4- 4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4- - - 4- 4-4-4-4-4-4-4
E- -4- - - - - - - - - - - -4- - - - - - - -

E - - 7- - - - - - - - - - 7- - - - - - - - -
A- - -9 - - - - - - - - - -9- - - - - - - - -
D- - -9- - - - - - - - - - 9- - - - - - - - -
G- - -8- -4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4- 8- -4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4
B- - -7- - - - - - - - - - 7- - - - - - - - -
E- - -7- - - - - - - - - - 7- - - - - - - - -
Then after this is the chorus which is exactly
the same as the intro so just play the intro the
same amount of times (2)
Then is the chorus which is again just flat
chords based on the chords played in the melodies,
god, I am lazy arent I! again comes the little
bit before the chorus played exactly the same
and then the chorus played the same again.
Then the chorus kind of continues playing this,
(this riff shall be called *)
E - 7- 7- -7- -5- 5- -5- -4- 4- -4- -4- 4- -4-
A- -9- 9- -9- -7- 7- -5- -6- 6- -6- -6- 6- -6-
D- -9- 9- -9- -7- 7- -7- -6- 6- -6- -6- 6- -6-
G- -8- 8- -8- -6- 6- -6- -5- 5- -5- -5- 5- -5-
B- -7- 7- -7- -5- 5- -5- -4- 4- -4- -4- 4- -4-
E- -7- 7- -7- -5- 5- -5- -4- 4- -4- -4- 4- -4-
Play this 4 times while Nate sings, then just
play these two chords, waiting a while in between each one:
E - 2- - - - -2- -
A- -4- - - - -4- -
D- -4- - - - -4- -
G- -3- - - - -3- -
B- -2- - - - -2- -
E- -2- - - - -2- -
So after that comes the slightly calmer,
slower, quieter bit.
I have only marked the G string because
that is the only string he plays
and ignore the fact that the other line is on
another paragraph thingy, it's still part of
what he plays:
G- -4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4- 3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-
6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6- 4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-
Play this six times. Now comes the loud, strange, complicated and the
hardest bit of the song, the chords, lots of them, right, I am just putting
down all of them with no clue as to where they are up to so I suggest you
know the song well or are listening to it.
E - 7- 7- 7- - -4- 4- 4-
A- -9- 9- 9- - -6- 6- 6-
D- -9- 9- 9- - -6- 6- 6-
G- -8- 8- 8- - -5- 5- 5-
B- -7- 7- 7- - -4- 4- 4-
E- -7- 7- 7- - -4- 4- 4-
Play this 4 times altogether, then the real bit
comes in where its loud, fast and furious,
although different and weird it may seem,
it is infact the riff I called *, and that is it,
the only difference is that it is played non-stop
rather than being played once at a time and it is
played a total of 4 times. The song then finally ends on:
E - 4- 4- 4-
A- -6- 6- 6-
D- -6- 6- 6-
G- -5- 5- 5-
B- -4- 4- 4-
E- -4- 4- 4-
Phew! Finally that is over, I worked
long and very hard to do that so I hope you
appreciate it and use it.
