Right then once more. As is usual with most Nephilim songs, just about all the
instruments are extremely difficult to hear individually (including Carl's
vocals), so I've made my best attempt at the song, taken from their second
album "the Nephilim". To help hear the bits that I play, try listening to
different mixes, e.g. both versions from the "Revelations" double c.d. and
some of the live ones for some pretty funky effects (can anyone tell me which
effects they use for the "Live in Concert" c.d??? Something phasery I think).
Anyway, enough of this idle banter, best of luck and all that.

Notes
~~~~~
When I've put "4", it means play all of 4a and 4b consecutively. Later on,
guitar 1 seems to pop in and out of distortion, so the first time that guitar
one plays riff 8, it's with dist. and all the times after that it's clean. All
the other riffs stay the same as before.
At the end of the chorus riff (the bit with the hammer- ons), I actually think
that that bit may be played by the other guitar while guitar 2 repeats what it
just played. This song is *incredibly* confusing.
Towards the last quarter it seems that there's another guitar in the
background playing a muted power chord (5th string, 5th fret- whatever it's
called) unless that's just guitar 1 doing something weird. I hope not.
In riff 7, I've marked off the last section as I made it up myself. The first
few notes which are before the line I could hear O.K. but the ones after it I
made myself, as it's just far too difficult to hear because of everything else
going on around them. If you can get my timing, it should sound fine.
The lyrics I've sort of amended from John McDonagh's file, so they're just
what I think I can hear. If you look on the inlay to "the Nephilim" album (on
cassette anyway) there are a few bits from Moonchild around the picture ("I
knelt down where I burned before"; "a revisit to an empty hall"; and something
else which I can't read).
