Once again it's another difficult-to-hear song. Hmmm. I think what I've done for this sounds as close as I can get to the real thing (once again from the "the Nephilim" album). I play the clean sound with a bit of chorus, and I put some delay into the distortion as well. Notes ~~~~~ There seems very little point in typing out the order in which you play the riffs. Riffs 3 and 4 take over from the others about halfway through the song, where Carl sings :"Hey, raise me... someone's gonna suffer". The last quarter of riff 4 (with all the 5's and 7's) alters throughout the last two minutes or so of the song. The only notes that change are those on the top e string, and they play orders like: 5 7 7; 5 7 8; and basically just rearrangements of those notes in different orders. The one I have written in riff 4 seems to be the one played most frequently (it is also the first one the play). Riff 3 is in time with the chord changes, and the last power chord holds out for the duration of two chord changes of the other guitar :(if you see what I mean :(sort of :(wibble:):):). Incidentally, if you prefer, you can play it using barre chords, on the 7th, 5th, 3rd and 2nd frets using an A augmentedA minor shape but without the note on the G+G string (no sad jokes please), but in my opinon it doesn't sound nearly as good, as you lose that "twangy" sound. Incidentally, I'm crap at chord names, as you may have guessed. Swiftly moving on... ~~~~~~ Pope Bovophobe V is Arch Cyberpope, Ordo Templi Thermophilic Philopoles, C.P.P.
