Di-rect - Rollercoaster
From the album "Over the moon"
Tabbed by Sjoerd Dijkstra (shurdus@hotmail.com)

Riff A chord diagramA augmentedA

   A chord diagramE5E5 P.M. . . . . A chord diagramG5G5 P.M. . . . .

e|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramBB|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramG+G|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramD MajorD|-2--------------------5-------------------------------|
A chord diagramA augmentedA|-2--2--2--2--2--2--2--5--5--5--5--5--5--5-------------|
A chord diagramE MajorE|-0--0--0--0--0--0--0--3--3--3--3--3--3--3-------------|

   A chord diagramC5C5 P.M. . . . . A chord diagramD5D5 P.M. . . . .

e|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramBB|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramG+G|-5--------------------7-------------------------------|
A chord diagramD MajorD|-5--5--5--5--5--5--5--7--7--7--7--7--7--7-------------|
A chord diagramA augmentedA|-3--3--3--3--3--3--3--5--5--5--5--5--5--5-------------|
A chord diagramE MajorE|------------------------------------------------------|

End Riff A chord diagramA augmentedA

Play Riff A chord diagramA augmentedA 3 times, then play twice

e|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramBB|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramG+G|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramD MajorD|--10-10-10-9-9-9-7-7-7-5-5-5-7-7-9-9------------------|
A chord diagramA augmentedA|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramE MajorE|------------------------------------------------------|

Slightly palm mute that entire part.

For the chorus just play Riff A chord diagramA augmentedA

After the chorus play

   A chord diagramE5E5 P.M. . . . . A chord diagramG5G5 P.M. . .

e|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramBB|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramG+G|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramD MajorD|-2--------------------------------5\sl----------------|
A chord diagramA augmentedA|-2--------------------5-----5-----5x------------------|
A chord diagramE MajorE|-0--0--0--0--0--0--0--3--0--3--0--3x------------------|

Note: In the part above, slide only the note played
on the A chord diagramD MajorD string, mute the others. Also it is possible
that an A chord diagramA5A5 is played at the end of this riff. I'm not
sure. You figure it out.

Second verse. Play twice

   A chord diagramE minorEm A chord diagramG+G

e|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramBB|-----------------------3------------------------------|
A chord diagramG+G|----------0---------0---------------------------------|
A chord diagramD MajorD|----0--2---------0------------------------------------|
A chord diagramA augmentedA|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramE MajorE|-0------------3---------------------------------------|

After that some chord gets strummed but I have no idea
which one. I'd stum a G, and only the e, A chord diagramBB and A chord diagramG+G strings.

After the second time the chorus part is played play

    A chord diagramD5D5 A chord diagramC5C5

e|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramBB|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramG+G|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramD MajorD|--7--7------7--7------5-------------------------------|
A chord diagramA augmentedA|--5--5------5--5------3-------------------------------|
A chord diagramE MajorE|--5--5------5--5------3-------------------------------|

The second times end that riff with an A chord diagramGsus4Gsus4 like this.

e|---|
A chord diagramBB|---|
A chord diagramD MajorD|---|
A chord diagramG+G|-3-|
A chord diagramA augmentedA|-3-|
A chord diagramE MajorE|-3-|

Then at some point the solo kicks in. Play

e|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramBB|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramG+G|-9p7h9--12--11--9-------9-----------------------------|
A chord diagramD MajorD|---------------------12---9~~~~~~-12--10--9--7p5h7----|
A chord diagramA augmentedA|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramE MajorE|------------------------------------------------------|

e|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramBB|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramG+G|------------------------------------------------------|
A chord diagramD MajorD|--7h9---------7h9---------7--9/10--9--7p5h7~~~~~~-----|
A chord diagramA augmentedA|--------10p7--------10p7------------------------------|
A chord diagramE MajorE|------------------------------------------------------|

Play this solo twice. End the second time with a slide of
the last note. You might want to replace it with an A chord diagramE MajorE played
on the 12th fret of the A chord diagramE MajorE string and slide from there for
a sound that resembles the sound of the guitars in the song
better.

I think that about covers the song. Note that at no point in
this tab I tried to tab out the timing, so listen to the
song for the details on the timing.
