D G Em
I suppose there have been times
              C D G Em
when you felt like a room filled with darkness
      C D
Not a window around
      G Em
There must have been moments
    C D G Em C
you felt you were truly alone
D G Em
Then again each of us knows
     C D G Em
in a night of unbearable sadness
        C D
Still a light can be found
        G Em
In each morning the promise
     C D G Em C
that someday your true love will come

D G Em
I suppose there are some people
    C D G Em
who never believe in the magic
       C D
Oh the magic of love
           G Em
They think nothing is precious
    C D G Em C
and life is just pleasure and pain
D G Em
Then again each of us knows
       C D G Em
when a heart has been broken it`s tragic
       C D
Oh the magic of love
