like this song and didn't see chords online anywhere.

In the chorus, he plays the A with the lyric "foregone."

I haven't tried this at all, but it sounds like the guitar is playing with a capo on the 
2nd fret. So the transposed chords are
Verse:
G | G | D | Cmaj7
Chorus:
Em | C | D | D7 | G
It sounds like he plays the verse holding the 3rd fret of the highest 2 strings the 
whole time (so E and A). Like this

So the D is more of a Dsus4 and C is like Cadd9.
