Artist: RY COODER Song : Dark Is The Night Album: Paris, Texas Tabbed by: nicolasberry@yahoo.fr This is a really great song from the famous slide guitarist Ry Cooder, and you can hear it on the soundtrack of the fabulous movie ^ÓParis, Texas^Ô by Wim Wenders. It is his own interpretation of the ^ÓDark Was The Night, Cold Was The Ground^Ô by the bluesman Blind Willie Johnson. It is actually the darker blues stuff I^Òve ever heard and It^Òs so ^Ófun^Ô to play. Thanks to Kay-Uwe Graw (http://www.rostock.igd.fhg.de/private/kugraw/slidingzone.html) for having put online another version that helped me to tab this one as close to the original as I could. So this is my own work.

Easy to learn and easy to play (if you already manage that bottleneck^Å). Anyway you^Òll have to listen to the song to get the feeling right. Hope you enjoy!
