Note: Ok, this song is just piano only. But, I tabbed it into guitar
chords. Now everyboby knows that piano can play 'melody' (I guess
that is the correct term) very, very well but guitar is kind of
hard to do that. Maybe, you can try play it with finger plucking
on one chord itself. Arr... the intro is kind of hard to catch
the beat. It is something like this, I'm not sure it could be
wrong. Anyway, just try it.
Intro: Dmaj Gmaj G#/Abmajor A#/Bbmajor G#/Abmajor Gmaj
Verse 1:
D
Honey,
Gsus4 A D
It's been a long time coming,
Gsus4 A D
And I can't stop now,
Gsus4 A D
Such a long time running,
Gsus4 Em9 D
And I can't stop now,
Riff 1:
Gsus4 A D
Do you hear my heart beating,
Gsus4 E D
Can you hear that sound,
Gsus4 A D
Cause I can't help thinking,
Gsus4 A7 D
That I don't look down,
Chorus:
Gsus4
And then I looked up at the sun,
D
And I could see,
Bm9 Em9
The way that gravity turns for you and me,
Gsus4
And then I looked up at the sky,
D
And saw the sun,
Bm9 Em9
And the way that gravity turns on everyone,
A7
On everyone,
Verse 2:
D
Baby,
Gsus4 A D
It's been a long time waiting,
Gsus4 A D
Such a long, long time,
Gsus4 A D
And I can't stop smiling,
Gsus4 Em9 D
No I can't stop now,
Riff 2:
Gsus4 A D
Do you hear my heart beating,
Gsus4 Em9 D
Oh do you hear that sound,
Gsus4 A D
'Cause I can't stop crying,
Gsus4 A7 D
And I won't look down,
Chorus:
Gsus4
And then I looked up at the sun,
D
And I could see,
Bm9
Oh the way that gravity turns,
Em9
On you and me,
Gsus4
And then I looked at the sun,
D
And saw the sky,
Bm9 Em9
And the way that gravity pulls on you and I,
A7
On you and I,
Note: In the end, these are the running chords, but there is a piano
tabs going on at the same time. I think guitar can't do that.
Can anybody tell me how to strum & pluck at the same time just to
make it sound like the piano too. So you need two guitarist. One
will strum & while the other pluck.
