I saw them play this song on SNL last week, so this is pretty close to
exactly how they do it

I haven't even seen the version of this in Guitar World, so I guess it could
be a wee bit different from that

Anyhow you do that four times and then launch into the chorus
The guitar's on a whole bunch of loud distortion, POUND THEM STRINGS DAMMIT!

Meanwhile back at the fort Nigel is playing some little whiny thing over
those chords that goes something like this...he uses at least a little
wah-wah effect

Then it goes into a quiet part and I guess Gavin just hits the roots of the
intro chords...

plays that a couple times then says uh . . . "Just wanna be myself"
stops playing while bass plays on

BUT FIRST!  Gavin does this gradual bend with a pained look on his face

Oh yeah and Gavin is playing these back and forth under Nigel:

Then Nigel slides down I guess...
and the verse part starts up again, and they turn up the bass for part of it

Then it's back to the chorus!
They go to the riff part again, this time with Gavin singing over it and
Nigel kind of mixes a part of the riff with what he plays during the normal
chorus

Then everything just kind of calms down and Gavin hits a couple notes in the
verse chords and it ends with him playing this over and over:

sketchy so I decided to send in one that is very close to being down to
the note correct.  It will make a nice addition to the tabs currently posted
