Chords with lyrics
There's a much easier, yet not quite accurate, way to play the song with a capo
on a first fret and less chords. The sequence would be
E minorEm -> A augmentedA -> C majorC -> E minorEm for the verse and G+G -> BB -> C majorC for the chorus.

[Verse 1]
F minorFm G minorGm
Well come along walk with me
Ab7Ab7 Bb majorBb Db7Db7
And learn the songs that lovers sing
Fsus2Fsus2
When they believe
F minorFm G minorGm
We'll dance along the river's edge
Ab7Ab7 Bb majorBb Db7Db7
Just arm and arm along the moonlit shore
Fsus2Fsus2
The midnight cries
[Chorus]
AbAb C7C7 Db7Db7
I just came to chase the blues away
Fsus2Fsus2
For awhile
[Verse 2]
F minorFm G minorGm
Just like a child you'll cling to me
Ab7Ab7 Bb majorBb Db7Db7
From every sound along that rushes near, I whisper
Fsus2Fsus2
It's just the breeze
F minorFm G minorGm
That licks your skin and rubs your breast
Ab7Ab7 Bb majorBb Db7Db7
And as we lay our rivers flow away
Fsus2Fsus2
Your woman fear
[Chorus]
AbAb C7C7 Db7Db7
Lord I just came to chase the blues away
Fsus2Fsus2
Ah, for awhile
[Instrumental break]
[Verse 3]
F minorFm G minorGm
With the morning sun we'll wake
Ab7Ab7 Bb majorBb Db7Db7
And lift our eyes and watch the eagle fly
Fsus2Fsus2
Up mountain high
F minorFm G minorGm
And on his wings our love will climb
Ab7Ab7 Bb majorBb Db7Db7
And never fail until he soars and dives
Fsus2Fsus2
Oh, he'll take your breath away
[Chorus]
AbAb C7C7 Db7Db7
Well, he just came to chase the blues away
Fsus2Fsus2
For awhile
