* Read Me First *

This score assumes you have a capo on the first fret or
have tuned up a semitone. All fretting from here on assumes
my 0 = your 1.

I calculate the tempo at an odd 97.1bpm. But 96bpm should
be fine enough.

Full playing notes are at the bottom of this file.

* Chords used *

x02210  Am

320033  Gadd5
4504xx  G#dim
133211  F  [I prefer to use Fadd9, as below]
103213 Fadd9 [6th string F is pressed with the thumb here]

* Intro (fingerpicked) *

[99% perfect because I slowed the song down to 20%
 speed and transcribed every note and embellishment
 hehe ;-p]

Play this twice:

  Am        | Cadd5       | Gadd5     |
--------------------------------------------------
-------1------------1-----------3----------3----3-
-----2---2--------0---0-------0---0--0---0---0----
----2-------------------0-------------------------

----------------------------3-------3--3-------3--
    [1]     |          [2]|           |

* Verse 1 (fingerpicked) *

Play the intro sequence again, twice. THEN...

  Am/F#    |           | Gadd5    |
----------------------------------------------
-----3----------3----------3----------3----3--
---2---2--2---2---2--2---0---0--0---0---0-----

-------------------------------------------------
--0-------0--------------------------------------
--------------2-------2-3--3-------3-------------
u're..      |    You're ev|erywhere. |   You're everywhe..

[Fingerpicking ends]

* Verse 2 (electric) *

Am -> Cadd5 -> Gadd5  (3 times)
Am/F# -> G
Am -> Am/F# -> G ... stop playing.. 'cuz you're'

[Will update this with exact tab - not really needed though
 if you know the song well. The chords are fine]

* Chorus 1 (electric) *

F -> Cadd5 -> G (4 times)
[3]

* Verse 3 (electric) *

Mostly like verse 2.. but a cpl major changes:

Am -> Cadd5 -> Gadd5  (3 times)
Am/F# -> G
G#dim -> Am -> G -> Am/F#
[4][*]

* Chorus 2 *

Same as first chorus

* Verse 4 (no vocals) *

This verse is musically different to all of the others.

--SOLO PART--

Can't show the precise note lengths, but these are
the right notes ;-)

------------------------7-8-10-12-12-12-12-------
-10-8-8-9--10-8-8-9--10--------------------------
-------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------

--BACKING CHORDS--

[The solo is played over this]

Am -> Am/F# -> G -> G#dim  (2 times)
Am -> Bm -> C -> G
    [6]

* Middle 8 *

[Back to fingerpicking]

Play this three times [7]:

  Fadd9   Cadd5     Gadd5
-----3-------3--------3-------3-----
-------1-------1--------0-------0---
------------------------------------
--3---------------------------------
----------3-------------------------
-------------------3-------3--------

  Fadd9   Cadd5     Gadd5
-----3-------3--------3-------------
-------1-------1--------0-----------
------------------------------------
--3---------------------------------
----------3-------------------------
-------------------3-------3--------
                    .. you so.

[Fingerpicking ends]

* Chorus 3 (electric) *

F -> Cadd5 -> G (3 times)
Am -> Am/F# -> G
F -> Cadd5 -> G (4 times)

* Ending (fingerpicked) *

[Same chords as middle 8, but different picking.
 Tried to use slight spacing changes to demonstrate
 the slight timing differences in here..]

  Fadd9     Cadd5     Gadd5
------3--------3----------3-------3------
----1---1-----1--1------0---0----0--0----
-----------------------------------------
--3--------------------------------------
------------3-----3----------------------
----------------------3--------3------3--

  Fadd9    Cadd5     Gadd5
------3-------3---------------3-----
----1---1---(1)-1------------3------
----------------------------0-------
--3------------------------0--------
-----------3------3-------2---------
-------------------------3----------
         .. Do you  see  me?

* Tab notes *

[1] These two notes are both there but aren't distinctly
    separate. They are indicated like you to indicate you
    very lightly brush over them in that order. Omit if you
    don't want to be 100% Michelle perfect :-)

[2] I suggest a fingering of 030013 for this bar if picking
    because of this irregular noté. While this note is
    definitely played the first time Through, I'm unable
    to tell if it's played when this sequence is repeated
    the next three times (so féel free to omit it those times)

[3] The bass does some cute little runs while the guitar's
    playing the G.. but it doesn't affect our part.

[4] This takes some practice to sound right. Only strum the top
    four strings on the G#dim, as indicated in the chord chart.
    Listen along to the music.

[5] I can't get the six quiet background notes that follow on
    from this sequence just yet. Expect an update.

[6] Not 100% sure here, because the guitar is so faint compared
    to the solo. This sequence of chords, however, fits well,
    echoes the solo a little, and keeps it all together. Your
    suggestions are appreciated.

[7] I think there may be one or two ghost notes I'm missing out
    here. If I manage to nail them down, I'll add them in.

[*] Incase you're unsure about all the G#dim's and Am/F#'s, well..
    they're there. Their main use is to make the song sound as
    complete on a solo guitar as possible. If you have a bass
    accompaniment that's playing all the right notes, you can cheat
    and not play these chords, but... for an authentic sound, they're
    there baby :D

    There's also some other 'lead guitar' fills in a couple of the
    verses. When I've transcribed them, they'll go in this file.

There's full lyrics and chords for some of the other songs up at
http://www.michellebranch.dot.nu/ (which I'm not affiliated with in
any way so don't blame me if their chords don't work for you :))).
