This is a great tune. Thanks to Brendan for getting it started.
I just have a couple additions to fill in the holes.

The intro (from Joe Dirt Car) actually goes like this;
Start with a D MajorD cord shape, but also place your pinky finger on the
third fret of the high E MajorE string. Now move your index finger to the
second string, first fret. This allows you to play the entire lick
by simply lifting the appropriate fingers.
