The D/A (not sure what the real name for this chord is) is really
implied by the notes played (see the picking below). If you dont
play the picking sections you can just play a strait D/A like in
the chorus (*).
Picking:
Most of the picking particularly in the verses however
is just playing the chords kind of semi arpeggio by making sure
to hit the high e,b and or g strings on the up stroke after
strumming the chord - listen along to get the idea.
The most important 'voiced' notes in the
intro and verses are on the D/A type chord (4th chord) which is always
picked. The variations for the picked notes on this chord are as
follows - I will add the variation number after the chord below
to denote which fill is being played (approx).
