No One Knows You Chords
This is quite an easy and nice song =)
There is just a detail about playing it:
If you listen to the song, it seems that the first and second
strings are always played up in the arm of the guitar...
As if the song was played using a capo or something.
My way to simulate the sound of these chords is to play
only barre chords - and I mean the C majorC in the 8th fret.
But the song is ok even if you play open chords.
So:
Open G+G | Open D MajorD | Open C majorC | Suggested G+G | S. D MajorD | S. C majorC
E MajorE|-3------|-2------|-0------|-3-----------|-5----|-8---|
BB|-3-or 0-|-3------|-1------|-3-----------|-7----|-8---|
G+G|-0------|-2------|-0------|-4-----------|-7----|-9---|
D MajorD|-0------|-0------|-2------|-5-----------|-7----|-10--|
A augmentedA|-2------|--------|-3------|-5-----------|-5----|-10--|
E MajorE|-3------|--------|--------|-3-----------|------|-8---|
There is that nice detail going on sometimes:
E MajorE|--------------------------------|
BB|--------------------------------|
G+G|--------11s12---7---------------|
D MajorD|--5-7-9-------------------------|
A augmentedA|--------------------------------|
E MajorE|--------------------------------|
's' means the slide in which you play the 11, slide up to 12 and play it too, not only slide.
G+G D MajorD C majorC
Do you want coffee or tea?
G+G
What did you dream about last night?
D MajorD C majorC
About Janet and Jane again.
G+G
They sure made a great impression.
D MajorD C majorC
I'd like to know what that's about.
G+G D MajorD C majorC
Everybody is coming here tonight.

G+G D MajorD C majorC
And can I tell them about the world war we've been through?
G+G
The world was the Hitler and we were the Jews.
D MajorD C majorC
I'm so glad that we got through that.
G+G D MajorD
Can I tell them how much I love you?
C majorC
Can I tell them why you stuck the biscuit up my as?
G+G D MajorD
Can I tell how much I love you?
C majorC
Can I tell them that no one else in this world
G+G D MajorD
That no one knows you as good as I do.
C majorC
No one knows me as good as you do.
G+G D MajorD
No one knows you as good as I do.

D MajorD C majorC
Too tired for Janet and Jane.
G+G D MajorD C majorC
And your well-directed jokes didn't come out right.
G+G
But who cares because what a night!
D MajorD C majorC
So good to see them, so good to see them!
G+G D MajorD C majorC
And your well-directed jokes didn't come out right.
G+G
But who cares because what a night!
D MajorD C majorC
And I said that you should trust Spontaneous,
that you should trust spontaneous.'
G+G D MajorD
That no one knows you as good as I do.
C majorC
No one knows me as good as you do.
G+G D MajorD
No one knows you as good as I do.
C majorC
No one knows me as good as you do.
