This is my best shot at getting all Stuart's guitar parts down in tab
form - comments and updates welcome! There's quite a shortage of Big
Country tabs on the net so if there are any you would like please e-mail =

me and I'll see what I can do.

Verse 1;
(This is played with slight overdrive, a noise gate and a compressor.
The strings are damped between the palm of the right hand and the =
bridge.
The noise gate is set to start to open immediately the strings are hit
and to fully open a short period after the signal commences. It's a
subtle effect and not absolutely necessary.)

harmonics,

(There's a special effect guitar sound over the top of the G here. =
You'll
need lots of distortion, chorus or flanger, and a lot of delay. Take the =

edge of your plectrum and hold it at right angles to the bottom E =
string.
Drag the edge of the plectrum slowly along the E string all the way from =

the bridge to the nut. Notice how the noise changes as you pass the
selected pickup(s). It helps to have quite a heavy plectrum, otherwise
you'll have no plectrum left by the time you reach the nut! Don't press
too hard - make sure the string doesn't touch the frets.)
