Hurts So Good Intro by Astrid S

Hurts So Good tab by Astrid S

Intro

The chord progression in the song consist only of three chords, though it sounds like four.
This is actually just the D in the bass going down one octave. An alternative way of playing it
to get the octave lower is capo at 1st and use the chords; D (xx0232) instead of C,
F#m (244222) instead of Em and E instead of D. Then you can play the first E (x76454) or (x79997)
and the second E (022100).

Another alternative is to tune down to drop D with capo on 3rd and play the C (x32010),
Em (222000) and D first (xx0232) and second (00023x).

       C Em
You're fighting me off like a firefighter
   D
So tell me why you still get burned
    C Em
You say you're not, but you're still a liar
      D
Cause I'm the one that you run to first every time

[Pre-Chorus]

      C Em
Yeah, why do you try to deny it
D
When you show up every night
    C Em D
And tell me that you want me but it's complicated, so complicated

[Chorus]

         C Em
When it hurts, but it hurts so good
       D
Do you take it? Do you break it off
        C Em
When it hurts, but it hurts so good
        D
Can you say it, can you say it?
                  C Em
Your love is like
                  D
Your love is like
              C Em
It hurts so good
                  D
Your love is like

It hurts so good

[Verse 2]

C Em
Every time that I swear it's over
   D
It makes you want me even more
    C Em
You pull away and I come in closer
    D
And all we ever stay is torn

[Pre-Chorus]

              C Em
Baby, I don't know why I try to deny it

[Bridge]

C Em
Wide awake through the daylight
                            D
Will you hold me like we're running a yellow light?
C Em
Reach for you with my hands tied
                          D
Are we dancing like we're burning in paradise?

[Chorus]

         C Em
When it hurts, but it hurts so good
       D
Do you take it? Do you break it off
