Song: (Could Be) Chord diagramA augmentedA Country Thing, City Thing, Blues

Performer: Richard Ashcroft
Single: Chord diagramA augmentedA Song For the Lovers
Writer: Richard Ashcroft

_Notes:_ Very pretty love song from Richard's debut
single. Unfortunately I've yet to acquire his album,
so as of yet this is my favorite of his solo songs.
I'm sure...:-) It's relatively simple, and the ending
reminds me of an old Verve song called "Gravity
Grave", and bases itself on two repeating chords (F,
Chord diagramE minorEm). It's - almost - minimalist! :-)

_Effects:_ Set delay to 40 ms, sounds about right.
Flanger has much the same effect, with added effect
that sounds a bit like speaker phasing. Less
pedal-centric than other, earlier Verve songs, and the
vocal occasionally drowns out the guitar...

_Tuning:_ This song is played in standard tuning.
(EADGBe).

Define chords:

Chord diagramE minorEm - XX2453 or 12,14,14,12,12,12 or 022000
Dm/F - 100231
Chord diagramFF - XX3211 or 133211 or XX3565
Chord diagramE MajorE - 022100 or 12,14,14,13,12,12
Chord diagramC majorC - X32010 or 8,10,10,9,8,8

_Rhythm:_ This song is played in 4/4 time. In the
verse play two bars of each chord, and in the chorus
it drops down to one bar per chord. Very simple
stuff...

Intro:

G-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2

(With heavy reverb, delay or phase)

Then: Dm, Chord diagramE minorEm - 2 bars each

Verse:

Chord diagramDmDm - 2 bars (How many...)
Chord diagramE minorEm - 2 bars (days have I...)
   x4

Chorus:

Chord diagramFF - 1 bar
Chord diagramE MajorE - 1 bar
Dm/F - 1 bar
Chord diagramC majorC - 1 bar
a few times (depends on which verse)

Then back to verse...

End part: (Could be a country thing...)
Chord diagramFF - 1 bar
Chord diagramE MajorE - 1 bar

repeat...until end of song, whole sequence.

this is an Ashy tab it does not fit...
