Listen to the record for the strumming pattern of the intro & chorus (they are the same).
I added some information at the bottom to give you more insight into how
this tab came about. The Movement from G+G to E minor 7Em7 to Cadd9Cadd9 is relatively quick, while
the D MajorD and G+G that come after this movement has a few strums to them.
This movement is steady and should dictate the speed and rhythm that the
vocals in the chorus are delivered.

This chord/tab is based on an e-mail I received from the band back in 2000,
with instructions on how they performed their acoustic version on the air
via Portland’s WCYY radio station (could have been WMGX, I don’t really
remember). I believe lead vocalist and guitarist Bob Whalen sent it, but
I don’t have the print out anymore so I’m not positive.
I haven’t played guitar in five years, so it took me some time to figure
this out again. I even resorted to e-mailing the members of the band again
but got no replies (no surprise, they’re no longer together). So if you
guys have any ideas, I can always integrate any corrections later.
Also, I don’t have the tab for the lead lick, so anyone out there wants
to give it a shot, by all means!
