Runaways Tab by All Time Low

Runaways tab by All Time Low (Ver. 2)

Guitar Tab

This is the riff from the intro that also plays during the verses. The way I play it is
fingerpicking with my thumb, index and middle finger. It's probably the hardest thing in
this song, so if you want to make it easier, you can miss out the E string, or even just play the G string.
OR you could just play each chord once and use a tremolo effect to do
the rest.

Now for the second guitar part in the chorus (Jacks part). Keep a steady eighth note
rhythm on the 2 note chord parts

E|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
^Repeat until you get to the next part

For the last two notes, bend the b string to the same pitch as the e string, and give it lots of vibrato!
"When the sun goes down, on this town, there'll be no-one left but us"

D|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

This is the same kind of thing Jack does in the chorus of Damned If I Do
"Just like runaways, they will have to find some other hearts to break, hearts to break.

The second verse and chorus is exactly the same as the first ones. Which leads us to the bridge.

Here's the melody that the guitar plays, first the main part, then the lower version
e|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---9----7----10----9-------5----7----7-----------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------6-----4-----7----6-----2---4---4--|

Here's the louder part
"They won't catch us, in the dark"
