Notes:
I looked around for this tab and saw many of the same thing - incorrect tabs. I've made it
easy to follow and play
it may look difficult at first but learn the chords and you'll get it in 5 minutes like I did.
This song is quite easy, the second song I ever learnt infact! Chords are D, A, G, Bm; Dsus2/4
and Asus2/4 are done by moving your 3rd and 4th finger to alter the tone (see tabs). I've
aligned verse 1 with the music, chorus and other verses should be easy to follow.
Layout: Verse 1, Chorus, Verse 2, Chorus, Verse 3, Chorus, Verse 4, Chorus, outro

Verse 1:
I got my first real six string, bought it at the five & dime
Played it till my fingers bled, was the summer of 69
Me and some guys from school, had a band and tried real hard
Jimmy quit Jody got married, should've known we'd never get far
Verse 2:
Ain't no use complaining, when you've got a job to do
Spent my evenings down at the drive in, and that's where I met you, yeah
Verse 4:
And now the times are changing, look at everthing thats come and gone
Sometimes when I play my old six string, I think about ya and wonder what went wrong
