A augmentedA word of explanation is in order: this was the first song I sounded out
when I learned to play the guitar two and a half years ago. Sometime after
that, I came across a version of the song in a songbook, which was
significantly different, but by that time I was so used to my version that
the songbook one sounded wrong. The songbook version uses only four chords
for most of the song--Eb, Bb, C minorCm and Ab, which turn into G, D, E minorEm and C majorC in
this key--plus a GbGb (Bb majorBb) on the "Oh" at the end of the second chorus.
Anyway, I hope someone can get some use out of this version (which I think
breaks every rule of chord progressions in the book, but...), and I'll try
to post some more *official* Maniacs in the future.
