November rain is one of the longest Guns n’ roses songs but that didn’t stop them from releasing it as a single. It became a hit in 1992 and reached the third spot in the Billboard US single charts. Keep in mind when playing these “November rain” guitar tabs that the piano, bass and guitars are tuned down a half step down.
The main part of the song is in key of C major, but since the instruments are tuned down it sounds like being in the keys of B major. First released on the “Use Your Illusion I” album in 1992, and then as a single. Guitar World magazine listed it number six in their 100 Greatest Guitar Solos list. Whatever spot in the list, the guitar solo, as seen in the “November rain” guitar tabs, is very good. In later years each of the guitar solos is played live by different guitarists. This nine minutes long song has more than a minute of guitar solos.
