Proud Mary is written by John Fogerty, like the wast majority of Creedence Clearwater Revival's songs. The song was a single from the band's second album "Bayou Country". Both the record and the single was released in early 1969. John Fogerty plays the lead guitar and his brother Tom Fogerty plays the rhythm guitar. Use these guitar chords to master their style.
